   PLEASE HELP ME!
   I am a NP who is desperately trying to create a NP position in an acute geriatric unit in a teaching hospital. I have seen through my own eyes how this unit desperately needs a NP to improve medical care as well as provide supportive care to patients and their families.. I spoke with administration. They requested data/statistics on how a NP can financially as well as improve medical performance in a hospital.
   Can anyone help me out there?

   Sheri, The only way to support your theory is to do some research on the subject. You may try to look up some NP’s master’s theses to see if they have already studied the subject. I will look around myself and if I find a particular study, I will post a link for you. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog!

   Hi Gang, does anyone have a template for keeping track of orders that need to be followed up on while on call/rounding???
